Valentine’s Day dinner at Basilico is guaranteed to be a romantic affair. Indulge in a splendor of Italian cuisine with a rich buffet of fresh seafood and prime meats, Italian cheeses, and a decadent Chocolate Room filled with a wonderland of luscious desserts.

Ladies will also receive a stalk of rose and a specially crafted Italian love note.

Back by popular demand, Basilico will be serving their novel take on the traditional prosperity toss this Lunar New Year.

This year’s version will feature fine Angel Hair Pasta, Octopus Carpaccio, Marinated Yellowfin Tuna, Avruga Caviar, and Bottarga, all topped with 24-carat Gold Leaf for an additional layer of luxe.

With a recent refresh that sees a retractable partition, Basilico has converted its cosiest nook into a discreet semi-private dining area. Our day-lit private room offers a poolside view, perfect for small to large gathering with families or social events. A retractable partition allows the space to be further divided for additional privacy between tables.

Meet Our Chef

Valerio Pierantonelli, Head Chef

Born and raised in Rome, Chef Valerio was but just a young teen when his culinary career kicked off at the tender age of 15. Talent always supersedes age, so it was little surprise that he left Italy at 19 to garner more notches under his belt in major cities like Nice, London and Monaco. In Monaco, at a restaurant owned by the famous Italian football player Gennaro Gattuso, Chef Valerio helmed the culinary programme whilst rubbing shoulders with royalty and the glitterati. Having conquered Europe, he set his sights on New York City next and was in charge of restaurants spanning the East Coast. He counts being part of an entourage that executed a 20 million euro wedding in Grotta Palazzese, a cave restaurant in Puglia, one of his culinary highlights. All that’s left now is Asia, where a new chapter writes itself at Basilico.
